About Susan Hoover, Scientist

Dr. Hoover’s research interests include the epidemiology, clinical manifestations, host factors, and therapies of infectious disease. She is a practicing clinician at Sanford Health and medical director for infection control for the Sanford Sioux Falls Region. Her research interests include viral infections, valley fever (coccidioidomycosis), and the use of data in healthcare to improve care of patients with infections.
